Further Junction Reconstruction Works on the M7

On 19 October reconstruction works involving traffic restrictions will begin on the exit slip road at the junction of the M7 and Route 63, on the Balaton-bound side of the motorway.

According to the schedule, in the morning of Monday 19 October, the partial reconstruction of the junction of the M7 and Route 63 will be started. The exit slip road at km 64 on the Balaton-bound side of the M7 will be completely closed for the duration of the works, which will include resurfacing and the installation of crash barriers. The project, worth HUF 135 million gross, will be carried out by Colas Építő Zrt., which won the public procurement tender, and is scheduled to finish on 29 October. The above schedule may change depending on weather conditions.

Motorists will be informed on the closure and the designated bypass route by yellow direction signs placed at key locations. Those concerned are advised to exit the motorway where the M7 and Route 62 meet, at junction 60.

During the closure drivers travelling on the right side of the section bypassing Székesfehérvár, which is toll-free for passenger cars, are also advised to exit the motorway at junction 60.

State Motorway Management Company kindly asks for the understanding and patience of those travelling in the affected area.
